To the side of the house was an unused, overgrown area which lent itself perfectly to a seating and BBQ area, benefiting from both the evening sun and morning sun.

We used luxury composite decking to wrap around the side of the house and we stepped up areas on angles to zone, to create various seating areas. The floor under the deck naturally slopes down, so we utilised this for a sunken fire pit with floating seating – all surrounded with beautiful black bamboo.

To enhance the garden, LED tape lighting is hidden under the steps and around the floating fire pit seating, creating a dynamic and confident modern aesthetic. Further up, lighting is used to enhance the planting and to highlight the custom slatted horizontal fencing.  

All the lighting is controlled by an app on your phone, using Wi-Fi. As well as timers, you can change colours and control the brightness of the light.

Outdoor speakers are carefully placed to provide a consistent volume of sound as you navigate the area, again, all controlled from an app on your phone.
